To amplify TikTok Shop’s presence in the collectibles space, we took over a 30x50 footprint at New York Comic Con, placing our activation front and center on the Javits Center show floor. With over 200,000 attendees flooding the convention across four days, this setup gave us premium visibility and instant access to one of the most engaged pop culture audiences in the world.
Hyun Seo Yoo and I spearheaded the event’s creative direction and experience design, from booth visuals to live shopping integration and real-time streaming workflows. The space came alive through hands-on moments: surprise celebrity signings by legendary Pokémon artist Mitsuhiro Arita, live commerce sessions hosted by top TikTok creators, and brand partnerships with Crocs and Pringles that brought cultural relevance to the forefront.
The results:
• $1MM in revenue generated directly through onsite and live-stream sales
• 200,000+ consumer touchpoints
• 100 high-quality seller leads captured on the ground
